New site and store to launch in January 2014

17 December, 2013   by Matthew Greene

It’s been exactly three months since our last post – far too long, to be sure – but there’s a good reason for it…

The new Chimera Creative Works web store is set to launch in early January 2014. The site will replace the existing one, and will allow users to (securely) browse and purchase Nicole’s original paintings and Matt’s chapbook, Patients. Even more exciting is that the process of ordering our freelance services has been completely streamlined! Users will be able to simply browse services, add one or more to the shopping cart, and, for extra convenience, provide a project overview right in the comments section of the order page.

It is likely that ordering services through the cart will be free (meaning no charges at all until we’ve contacted you). We think this model will provide a more straightforward buying process for our customers; of course, if customers would rather contact us directly through e-mail or phone, we’re good with that! We’re here to help, and are very much looking forward to our next projects, whatever they may be.

In other news…

Five of Nicole’s original works will be up for auction in Cozy Up For A Cause, a charity event to support Hunger Free Vermont, an organization who’s fighting (nonviolently) to end the injustice of hunger and malnutrition in Vermont. The auction will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at ArtsRiot on Pine Street in Burlington. There’s no admission fee, but $5.00 is the suggested donation. Please contact us if you’d like more information.
